The menu changes monthly at this local favorite, but you can always count on Swiss favorites like the cheese pie and the cheese, onion, and bacon quiche. Try the chocolate torte and European-style pastries, served in this chalet-style building just south of the Country Club Plaza. This is a non-smoking café.

My first and last trip to the KC restaurant. We were offered a choice from four entrees- I had the seafood dish. An unimaginative combination of peas (overcooked or frozen, not sure which), carrots and corn alongside the seafood which was small in portion and some parts of the seafood were chewy, to say the least. The salad was also a simple lettuce bowl that was enough for a bird and tasted like cole slaw. I was told the dressing would leave me wanting
it and no other kind in the future but the waitress loses that bet. The tables for two are way too small for comfort and the restaurant was noisy enough I could not easily hear the person I was with when she spoke with me. No dishes were provided for the bread- two slices came in the bread basket, attended by butter wrapped in foil, my least favorite method of providing butter and no butter knives were provided. The service was friendly with just a touch of attitude. I wonder if the Swiss would approve....
