Nicollet Mall

Fodor's Review:

Nicollet Mall, a mile-long pedestrian shopping strip, runs from Washington Avenue S to Grant Street E, with an extensive system of skyways connecting its many shops. It's home to the new Cesar Pelli-designed The modern, light-filled structure houses a significant children's collection, a teen library center, and a coffee shop. 300 Nicollet Mall, Downtown, Minneapolis. 612/630-6000. Tues., Thurs. 10-8, Wed., Fri., Sat. 10-6.
