The Lark

Updated 12/31/1969

Fodor's Review

This local legend is well regarded nationally. The 50 seats are always filled with diners feasting on the restaurant's signature rack of lamb "Genghis Khan" or the medallions of curried rabbit loin. The outdoor patio is open for drinks and appetizers.

Best in Town

Nothing replaces "the owners in the building" and Jim is there. Sure silly expensive, but you'd bring the President here. Food properly prepared with fabulous service. They know who they are and do it well. As good as any American restuarant. Kaz

Extreme Cuisine

Very expensive & not a place that most people could frequent. But It's like travelling abroad - go once & you'll be determined to return! The staff does everything but chew your food (and being a regular gal, I find everyone VERY friendly)! The mood is romantic, like a small rural French estate. The food is French influenced and you will dream about your dinner for months to come. One of Jack Nicholson's favorites, Top Ten special occasion restaurants

- Bon Apetit, One of the best in US - Conde Nast. They get very personal w/ your wine selection (award winning), too.
