Yankee Candle Village
Yankee Candle Village Review
Sure, it's one big retail outlet, designed to display and sell its astonishing array of candle products—more than 160 scents including outlandish aromas such as pink dragonfruit and coastal waters—but Yankee Candle Village is also a fun, free place to visit. Check out the small candle-making museum off the main showroom to see (if your timing is right) beeswax candles made on old-fashioned equipment. Highlights for younger kids include the Bavarian Christmas Village and Santa's Toy Factory, where electric trains chug by overhead and faux snow falls lightly. You can have lunch at either the pleasant café or Chandler's, the full-service restaurant.
