There's nothing basic about this popular, oh-so-calm, candle-lighted eatery across from the Mount Holyoke campus. Dishes are complicated but mostly successful, like the lobster risotto; the upscale pommes frites (french fries) with spicy ketchup and wasabi mayonnaise; and the pan-seared sea scallops with cauliflower risotto, crab and mâche salad, and warm curry oil. This spot is a magnet for foodies, yuppies, and college students on their parents' tab.
