Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art

Fodor's Review:

This museum celebrates and preserves not only the works of renowned children's book author Eric Carle (who penned The Very Hungry Caterpillar) but also such luminaries as Maurice Sendak, Lucy Cousins, Petra Mathers, and Leo and Diane Dillon. Puppet shows, lectures, and storytelling are all part of the museum's ongoing calendar of events.

  • Cost: $7
  • Open: Tues.-Fri. 10-4, Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-5
