Languedoc Bistro

Languedoc Bistro Review

While retaining its Gallic charm and methodology, this lovely auberge-style restaurant, founded in 1975, happily draws on native ingredients. The locally caught wild striped bass, for instance, is accompanied by tempura squash blossoms and carrot beurre blanc. Dining moods are divided into two modes: You can opt for the fairly formal upstairs rooms or the bistro-style conviviality of the cellar. In season, the patio is a lovely place to toy with a salad—or to tackle a decadent, overgenerous dessert, such as a sundae sprinkled with butter crunch.
