$$$-$$$$, Mediterranean, Nantucket Town
Fodor's Review:
Beyond the throngs of twentysomethings noisily mingling at the bar, you'll encounter a culinary oasis, a vaulted semisubterranean space reminiscent of a private wine cellar, with leather banquettes circling antique-gold walls. Here, under the watchful eye of star chef-owner Seth Raynor, chef de cuisine Erin Zircher showcases her skill with Mediterranean market cuisine. Comfort is the universal watchword: it's implicit in the creamy Spanish-style almond soup bejeweled with roasted grapes and seared day scallops, and in the signature dessert, warm dark-chocolate chocolate-chip cookies (like mini-molten cakes) served with a pair of "mini malted milk shakes." Come summer, you can sample from the menu at the sidewalk café -- provided you succeed in snagging a table.
