This ultracool space—a sophisticated upstairs cousin to the Boarding House—is seriously chic, with a white onyx bar lighted in a Curaçao blue and, behind an aquarium divider, cushy white-leather banquettes. These—plus the garden porch, where tasting dinners can be prearranged—are the power seats. However, everyone is well served by Seth Raynor's enthusiasm for the bold flavors of Asian cuisine, especially in its street-wise guise. You may have a tough time choosing between the lobster salad with fresh-shaved hearts of palm and the signature wok-fried lobster with lo-mein and grilled lime—so do yourself a favor and order both. Raynor also pulls off a stellar Japanese variation on steak fries (the latter come dusted with tasty choy shichimi).
