Fodor's Review

The last real deal left in town, this homey Victorian has been in the same family since 1914. Fourth-generation proprietors Joanne and Steve Marcoux are so nice, and the rates so reasonable, that you're willing to overlook the shared baths and gently worn furnishings. Here you'll find the authentic, pre-glitz Nantucket.

Ridiiiing Bikes on the Cobblestoooone Streeeets is bumppppy!

We've stayed at the Nesbitt Inn for several years now and are looking forward to our upcoming 2 weeks this summer (2005). Location is excellent and the Inn is a perfect get-a-way. From relaxing on the front porch with a cup of coffee to having a casual dinner out back (try carry-out from Sayles Seafood), this is the place to be.

The Nesbitt: A Nantucket Landmark

We have stayed at the Nesbitt for most of the last 20+ years, including our on-island wedding trip. It is more than a bargain in increasingly bargainless Nantucket. Homey, informal, affordable. The long-time owner/managers Dolly and Nobby are no-nonsense New Englanders who will do anything to accommodate you and mke your visit more enjoyable. If your ACK tastes run to Land Rovers, garish summer wear and dinners whose price could feed small towns,

this isn't your place. If you want a comfortable, convenient, unpretentious "home" on a beautiful island, the Nesbitt is it.
