Fodor's Review:

No, it's not really an 1840s whaling bar—though the atmospheric basement, which dates all the way back to 1972, presents a more convincing front than the open, family-friendly upper floors added in 2005. Upstairs or down, inside or out, you can dive into the same juicy burgers—incontrovertibly the best on-island-and signature curly fries. As a boon for late-night celebrants, the kitchen stays open 'til midnight in season.
