Tiny—there are 20 seats indoors, and as many out—and perfect, this gem of a bistro is a find that devoted locals almost wish they could keep to themselves. Chef-owners Tim and Ruth Pitts's sizzling cuisine is a match for the persimmon-orange color scheme of this cozy hideaway lined with cushioned banquettes and splashed with exuberant flower paintings. Portions—whether of the sesame-crusted shrimp atop red-curry rice noodles, or the Angus-beef tenderloin with goat cheese and white-truffle oil—are so ample as to quell the heartiest of appetites. Desserts are as lavish (try the warm flourless chocolate cake wrapped in filo) as the prices are modest.
