The island's first and only microbrewery restaurant has become quite popular. There are private wooden booths, dark wood throughout, a dartboard in the corner, and live music throughout the year (Wednesday-night Irish-music jams are a hoot). Take your own peanuts from a barrel by the door and drop the shells on the floor; then order from a menu that includes steaks and burgers, chicken, pasta, gumbo, and fish. However, to truly appreciate the beer, try it with one of the wood-fired brick-oven pizzas.

Beer here has definitely improved over our last visit in '07. Recommend highly, the "Hop Goddess". Excellent food choices include: Very creamy clam chowder, full-flavored hand-cut fries, nice assortment of fresh, local oysters and great gourmet pizza.
