Martha's Vineyard International Hostel Review

The only budget, roof-over-your-head alternative in season, this hostel is one of the country's best. The large, common kitchen is outfitted with multiple refrigerators and stoves (barbecue grills are available, too), the common room has a fireplace and plenty of books, and you'll catch wind of local events on the bulletin board. Morning chores are required in summer. The hostel runs summer programs on island history, as well as nature tours. It's near a bike path, and 2 mi from the airport and about 3 mi from the nearest beach. Buses stop out front.

    Hotel Amenities

  • 78 dorm-style beds.
  • Laundry facilities.
  • Credit cards accepted.
  • Closed mid-Oct.-mid-Apr.
