The centerpiece of this historic hotel is a gray-shingle, 1891 Victorian building with wraparound veranda and a gazebo. Accommodations are also in a complex of nearby buildings in a residential neighborhood. The contemporary townhouses have cathedral ceilings, decks, kitchens, and large living areas with sofa beds. Rooms in other buildings are laid out like upscale motor-lodge units but have the same fine decor and plush in-room amenities. A beach, good for walking, stretches
¾-mile from the hotel's dock. The extensive children's summer program has a full roster of activities for kids.

Great views of the harbor and lighthouse. Warm friendly staff make your stay on MV well worth the cost! Resort is away from the crowds and has several cottages so you don't need to stay in a hotel atmosphere. There are 2 restaurants and a bar. Enjoy the front porch and just relax.
