Fodor's Review

Most rooms at this small-scale motel on the north end of Hyannis Harbor have harbor views and small balconies overlooking the water, and its simple street-side appearance belies its spacious and immaculate accommodations, extensive grounds, and warm, B&B-style personal service from Lisa and Skip Simpson. Rooms are up-to-date, with down comforters, terry robes, refrigerators, and flat-screen TVs. Executive rooms have wraparound porches. The Continental breakfast is

a real treat, served in the Lewis Bay Library with its extraordinary views. A large outdoor fire pit overlooks the harbor

Hyannis At It's Best

This facility is one of the nicest in the area. Service was wonderful, staff friendly and attentive. Located on the harbor, one of the best views around. Only suggestion - have some snacks available for guests in the evening.

Excellent Stay

I seached and searched to find the perfect hotel in hyannis. I combed the fedor site reading reviews and I couldn't have been happier with my selection. Anchor In is perfectly located at the marina, a short walk to ferry boats. We booked the newly renovated rooms and they are lovely. The balconies are particularly enjoyable in the morning and evening to watch the sights. The staff is so friendly and the continental breakfast is nice. We would

definitely return.

clean, clean, clean

Our stay at the Anchor In was very pleasant. The room that we stayed in contained double queen-sized beds (very comfortable), a small refrigerator, television, iron and ironing board. A small terrace facing the pool with a view of the harbor was nice. The room was impeccably clean as was the bathroom! One of the nice "absent" things in the room was any mysterious scents that many other motels attempt to mask. (my personal pet peeve) The daily continental

breakfast had fresh muffins, fresh fruit, fresh bagels, coffee and juices. Hyannis is a nice area, centrally located on the Cape with nice nearby restaurants and Main St. is within walking distance. We will be going back to the Anchor In in the future when visiting Cape Cod.

Best Value on the Cape!

For a basic motor inn, the Anchor-In is a winner. The inn and property are immaculate. The staff are great. It is a great place if you are looking for the basics done WELL - 5s across the board for an motor inn.

A Pleasant Surprise

Stayed here in November so off-season rates applied, making a deluxe room in the $70 range. Good sized room, very clean with great harbor views. All rooms appear to be non-smoking.
