This restaurant's stylish, art deco interior is far, far away from its former life as a Friendly's franchise. The fanciful cocktails, intriguing menu, and daily blackboard specials make this a popular Chatham spot. The thin-crust pizzas—try balsamic fig puree and prosciutto with goat cheese and toasted almonds—come piping hot out of the ever-glowing wood-fired oven. Other dishes get a subtle and pleasing smokiness from the fire, including the Wellfleet oysters Rockefeller, and the roasted Chatham cod topped with basil and pine nut pesto. Try the grilled New Zealand rack of lamb marinated in Moroccan spices with eggplant fries and minted yogurt.
