Opened in 2005 in the snazzy Crowne Pointe Inn, this intimate, casually handsome space occupies the parlor and sunroom of a grand sea-captain's mansion. The kitchen serves finely crafted, healthful, modern American food, such as wasabi-dusted seared tuna with a sesame-sake-soy dipping sauce, followed by seared lamb medallions with a feta-mint pesto rub and a ragout of roasted tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and asparagus. A lighter menu offers veggie burgers, lobster rolls, and similarly casual fare for a fraction of the price.

While staying in Ptown for 5 nights I had the opportunity to dine at 5 different restaurants. I found the service, food, and atmosphere at the Bistro to be outstanding. The service was friendly and not rushed. The food was good clean food with great natural flavors. The wine list was extensive and fairly priced.
We had the house specialty chowder, Kobe Beef Burger Appt and Filet for Dinner. the Filet just melted in my mouth.
We finished the meal with an amazing dessert we shared - chocolate lovers dream.
I would suggest this restaurant to anyone dining in Ptown regardless of if you stay at the hotel or not. Its just outstanding!
