One of the nicest beaches in southeastern Massachusetts, Horseneck Beach State Reservation draws summer crowds to its 2 mi of sand, with access to kayaking and boating on the Westport River. There are restrooms with showers, and lifeguards in season. Parking is $8 a day from May through early September.

A most pleasant beach, rather out of the way, but still a fine spot to walk and explore or just get a sun-tan.
