Mayo Beach is free, but swimming here is pleasant only around high tide—once the water recedes, it's all mud and sharp shells. You can park for free at the small lot by Great Island on the bay.

Ok This is a nice little beach...If you like to dig clams low tide is the time to be there....If you like to walk the beach great for that...Once you leave the parking area the beach is about a half mile to 3/4 mile long...If you have little ones it has grat tide pools to play and catch sea animals.
