Chef-owner Ted Mahoney cooked for years at one of Provincetown's busiest restaurants before opening this always-hopping downtown spot that serves commendable dinner fare and draws big crowds for cocktails and appetizers. The menu emphasizes seafood, with such favorites as tuna sashimi, scallops, and a classic bouillabaisse brimming with shrimp, scallops, squid, haddock, littlenecks, and mussels in an herbed saffron broth, served over pasta. There are a few good vegetarian
options as well, and several good steak, lamb, and chicken dishes. The bar is long and comfortable, and is a good spot to dine if there are no tables available.
