A local landmark on the bucolic Swan River, Clancy's is popular—the parking lot is often jammed by 5 PM, so expect a substantial wait during peak hours in season. This is an enormous operation, with long family tables, round tables, booths, a deck overlooking the river, and two bars. On the seemingly endless menu are several variations of nachos, salads, and chili. Clancy's likes to be creative with the names of its dishes, so you can find items such as steak Lucifer (sirloin topped with lobster, asparagus, and béarnaise sauce) and a Sunday-brunch menu with the likes of crab, steak, or eggs Benny.

Clancy's provides for a good choice of seafood and traditional American cooking. Don't be scared off by the long lines waiting for tables...the waits are usually shorter than the estimates. The noise level, when crowded, can be somewhat disconcerting but, somehow or other, the food and the prices make it worth tolerating.

My wife and I have NEVER been disappointed with this restaurant. Service, food, ambiance workstaff, have always been good, We get there often during our 3 week annual vacations on the Cape. They make a hell of a martini here, too!
Highly recommended.
