Fazio's Trattoria
Fazio's Trattoria Review
Set in an old Italian-bakery building, swank but affordable Fazio's looks like the trattoria it is, with wood floors, high ceilings, and a deli case full of fresh pasta, breads, and cheeses. There's also an espresso and cappuccino bar. Chef Tom Fazio's menu leans on fresh ingredients and herbed pastas, such as basil fettuccine with shrimp, lemon, and plum tomatoes. All ravioli, pastas, and breads are homemade, and the brick-oven pizzas are delicious. Take home some fresh cannoli for dessert.

We were visiting Hyannis on our way to Cape Cod and found Fazio's in the Fodor's guide. We ordered out and when I arrived to pick it up at 7PM the restaurant was empty, except for 1 man eating at the bar and talking to the owners. My wife's shrimp fettucini was just OK, but my pizza supreme was less than ordinary. The service was good and the waitress was very nice.

Fazio's is our favorite Cape restaurant! The homemade pastas, breads, and pizza's are delicious. We love the cozy and comfortable atmosphere whether we are having a pizza and a bottle of Italian beer, or taking guests out for a "fancy" dinner. The wine list is thoughtful and has parings that work perfectly with the dishes. I found a new favorite wine in their house Chanti! On our last visit we were excited to see the addition of wonderful new half-circle booths, it looks fantastic. In the summer we loved the outdoor cafe but now, with winter closing in its a delight to sit in a comfy booth next to the fire and relax with great food and maybe a second glass of wine.
