This perennial favorite with magnificent harbor views focuses on seafood and grilled meats with a cross-cultural flair. Some popular entrées include roasted vegetable and polenta lasagna with a tomato-olive sauce; and Vietnamese shaking beef wok sautéed with scallions and red onions and a lime-black pepper dipping sauce. A piano bar upstairs serves lunch (weekdays in summer) and dinner from a light, less-expensive café menu (burgers, lobster dumplings in miso). The view of the bay from the bar is nearly perfect, and the gentle lighting makes this a romantic spot to have a drink. Brunch is also served daily in season. The restaurant claims its vodka bar is New England's largest, with some 230 varieties.

The Mews is one of Provincetown's best restaurant. The food and service are consistently superb. Only downside is the downstairs dining room is a bit cold/drab. Always ask for a table upstairs.
