Wellfleet Motel & Lodge Review

A mile from Marconi Beach, this clean and tasteful highway-side complex sits on 12 wooded acres. Rooms in the single-story motel aren't fancy but are renovated regularly; those in the two-story lodge are bright and spacious, with king- or queen-size beds and balconies or patios. The property offers direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail as well as indoor and outdoor pools; barbecue grills are available in a garden picnic area.

    A Great Cape Cod Hotel

The Wellfleet Motel ended up being the perfect place for us to spend a last summer weekend on the Cape. It was great to have the bike trail right there to get us into town and to the beach. We stayed in the lodge and loved our room with a bi deck.
We also enjoyed the indoor hot tub and having a bar and restaurant right there at the hotel. I know it is a little lazy to have gone into the town every night, but it was great after a long, almost all-day bike ride to be able to walk downstairs for a cold brew and a meal. We made use of the lawn and grilled some fresh fish and had a picnic. I am glad we stayed here away from a lot of the tourist traffic and at a reasonable rate. The place was great!
