Owner and chef Christian Schultz, who originally opened Christian's in Chatham, has earned plenty of kudos on the Lower Cape for his artful and inventive globally influenced cooking, and his present establishment lives up to his sterling reputation. Academy Ocean Grill occupies a stately shingle house surrounded by profusive gardens—in warm weather, you can dine on the patio amid the flowers and greenery. Top dishes include chunky crab cakes, monkfish pan-seared with Thai curry, and traditional veal saltimbocca. An exceptional wine list rounds out the offerings.
