The Mid Cape's last southern village is Dennisport, a prime summer-resort area, with gray-shingle cottages, summer houses and condominiums, and lots of white-picket fences covered with rambling roses. The Union Wharf Packing Company operated here in the 1850s, and sail makers and ship chandlers lined the shore. Sunbathers now pack the sands where sea clams once laid primary claim.
