West Dennis

Fodor's Review:

In another one of those tricks of Cape geography, the village of West Dennis is actually south of South Dennis, on the east side of the Bass River. Dennisport is farther east, near the Harwich town line. If you're driving between West Dennis and Harwich, Lower County Road, with occasional glimpses of the sea between the cottages and beachfront hotels, is a more scenic alternative to overdeveloped Route 28.
