Fodor's Review:

Housed in a contemporary Federalist reproduction building nearly indistinguishable from its authentic neighbors, this elegant B&B blends traditional New England hospitality and 19th-century style with modern amenities. Just steps from downtown's bustle, the Inn feels private and intimate on its quiet corner by the Village Green. Upstairs, the two spacious guest rooms are tastefully appointed with graceful furnishings in pale neutral tones. Each has a queen bed, private bath, and cable TV; the house also has central air-conditioning. Hosts Jim and Maureen Trodden serve a superb hot breakfast, and you can join them again in the afternoon for tea and fresh-baked cookies. Pros: Easy walk to activities of town, intimate setting with few other guests, privacy. Cons: Rooms are accessible only by stairs, not for those who prefer many other guests to chat with.

From the moment we met Jim and Maureen we felt at home in their gorgeous home in Falmouth. This was truly a wonderful experience with high-end accommodations (the Pineapple room as there were three of us)....to the gourmet breakfast the next morning. This house is so beautiful and sits in front of the village Green which is absolutely stunning with a large white church directly across. This B&B sits within a quick walk to the downtown shopping area and several key, good restaurants. The bike path is easily accessible and a wonderful ride! I cannot say enough about our stay with these folks. They were genuinely charming and obviously love to meet people! They were terrific hosts and we wished we could have stayed a week....we will return here next time, no doubt, to enjoy another stay. After doing our homework, we were ecstatic to see that the reviews were not only spot on, but could not possibly incorporate all words to describe this most-perfect B&B and the owners. Class Acts! Thank you Maureen and Jim for making our trip through Falmouth so special! And we thoroughly enjoyed your friends that we met....thank you both!

I've been around the world, stayed in many places, but the Inn at Siders Lane in Falmouth is by far my favorite destination. The owners are friendly, and the breakfast they serve is second to none. It's a nice leisurely walk to a bustling village - exactly what I look for in a B&B. You don't feel stranded, but you're also disconnected at the same time. Beautiful house, wonderful accomodations.
