Church of the Transfiguration

Fodor's Review:

The Community of Jesus, a religious community whose members come from a variety of Christian traditions, owns a large chunk of the Rock Harbor area. Their dramatic cathedral, the Church of the Transfiguration, showcases the work of local and international artisans, and reflects the community's dedication to the arts. Inside there's an organ with thousands of pipes, authentic frescoes depicting Biblical scenes, colorful stained-glass windows, and gorgeous, intricate mosaic work mixing religious themes with images of local flora and fauna.
