The New Bedford Art Museum, a compact gallery space in the 1918 Vault Building (a former bank), showcases the work of area artists. Included are paintings by 19th- and early-20th-century New Bedford artists Albert Bierstadt, William Bradford, and Charles Henry Gifford.
