Fodor's Review:
A lovely place for a stroll or a picnic is the park around Shawme Pond, a favorite fishing site for children. The ducks and swans love to be fed, though posted signs warn you not to indulge them. Across the way -- a perfect backdrop for this setting -- stands the spired, white 1848 First Church of Christ, inspired by a design by British architect Christopher Wren.
