Mashpee River Woodlands

Fodor's Review:
Perfect for bird-watching, fishing, or canoeing, the Mashpee River Woodlands occupy 391 acres along the Mashpee River. More than 8 mi of trails meander through the marshlands and pine forests. Park on Quinaquisset Avenue, River Road, or Mashpee Neck Road (where there's a public landing for canoe access). Trail maps are available at the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce. The trails are open daily from dawn to dusk.
