Like Plimoth Plantation, the Mayflower II, a reproduction of the 1620 Mayflower, is manned by staff, some clad in period dress, and docents who regularly present demonstrations on board, from knot tying to cooking. The ship was built in England through research and a bit of guesswork, and then sailed across the Atlantic in 1957. In addition to touring the ship, you can peruse the several interesting exhibits on the pier next to it.

It may be a reproduction, but the ship still gives a good sense of what this sailing experience must have been like (probably not too comfortable -- the ship is smaller than one might expect). Manned by folks in period costume, with plenty of explanatory signs and some exhibits. With combined admission to Plimouth Plantation, this is a good value for the money. Well worth a visit.
