Operated by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society, the 1749 Spooner House was home to the same family for 200 years; today you can take a guided tour through its restored interior and well-tended gardens. The Hedge House Museum, a massive Federal home from 1809, reveals the wealthier side of successful 19th-century living. As of this writing, the society was restoring a third historic property, the Harlow Old Fort House, a 1677 gambrel-roofed dwelling, which is slated to reopen for tours in 2008.
