Sippican Café

Sippican Café Review

Historically, Marion has been a one-restaurant town, and when Kathleen and Bob Bost bought and renovated a local breakfast joint, this became the place to go for dinner. Chef Loretta Imbriglio, alumna of the Meridien and the Chatham Bars Inn, delights locals with her light-handed, inventive twists on fresh seafood, beef, chicken, and pasta. Like the place itself, the menu is small but enticing, with three or four specials nightly and even a cheese course. Take note: it's BYOB.

Sippican cafe is a gem of a restaurant. The food is just plain awesome and anything but boring. A diverse menu with delicious daily specials, offering creative menu selections. There is also a beautiful bar serving a great selection of your favorite drinks in style. The service is superb, no cranky tired wait staff here. You can even watch your food being prepared at the small hi- top eating bar. This cozy, very clean and well decorated neighborhood cafe will be a crowd favorite for years to come. Don't miss this spot. You will be delighted whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. Just don't miss it!
