Grumpy's Restaurant
Grumpy's Restaurant Review
This airy diner consistently packs its tables and counter space year-round, and for good reason. From baked goods to waffles and eggs done any way you like them, Grumpy's jump-starts your day with generous portions for breakfast and lunch. Get here early to avoid a line that often curls out the door.

Brewsterskip, from Cape Cod
This big, barnlike structure that, from the outside, looks like they should be selling garden equipment is an outstanding example of what a breakfast restaurant should be about. There are many menus...the one they hand you and the various blackboards with all kinds of goodies. They have Italian sausage omelets, apple/raisen smothered French toast, in-house made corned beef hash, etc., etc. There is no end to the selection! The service is usually excellent considering how busy they normally are. They are only opened for breakfast and lunch. You might have a short wait for a table and the parking can be tricky but both are worth tolerating considering the end result.
