Blue Gateways Review

This inn—a home built in 1712—combines the simple comforts of colonial times with a modern sense of leisure. The original three-sided fireplace still reigns on the ground floor, which has wide-plank pine floors and generous beams. Upstairs are three ample guest rooms with quilts, antiques, hooked rugs, and private bathrooms. Gardens, fish-filled ponds, and private sitting areas are just outside. Common areas include a chess table, plenty of reading materials, a sunporch with cable TV and a VCR, and a small kitchen area with a microwave and refrigerator. It's a short walk from downtown Wellfleet's galleries and restaurants.
