Fresh, creatively prepared seafood—such as applewood bacon-wrapped sea scallops with corn-and-tomato succotash, and rare grilled yellowfin tuna with wasabi oil and house-made kimchee—is the specialty at this laid-back waterfront restaurant where some diners arrive by boat and many patrons greet each other by name. The casual, wood-floor dining room is boisterous, with a lively bar scene, and most of the large windows overlook the busy harbor—an ideal place to watch the sunset. Expect to wait for a table.

This is a bit like an upscale seafood shack in ambiance, but the food and service is excellent. There's also a great view of the water (the place sits on pilings halfway out). Open seasonally, call ahead if you plan to go. Well worth it.
