Fodor's Review:
What began as a modest pancake house has been transformed by the Rice family into a vast -- if touristy -- restaurant, but pewter plates, candlelight, and rustic wood accents make the place feel comfortably tavernlike. Predictable seafood, steaks, and surf-and-turf combos (consider the crabmeat casserole with petite filet mignon) keep the menu uncomplicated, and the portions ample. Lunch and lighter dinner fare are served daily in the Bass Tavern. If you have to wait for a table, browse in the adjacent Amish quilt shop.
