The look is nostalgia—red, white, and blue with movie posters. The specialties are beloved American foods—Monte Cristo-style egg sandwiches and banana Belgian waffles for breakfast (served all day) and cheeseburger club sandwiches, chicken-fried steak, and meat loaf for lunch.

The retro look is kind of nice, but they serve terrible food here, greasy and decidedly not fresh breakfast fare, so bad it was inedible. Demanded -- and got -- the check waived. Not so hot service, either. Avoid at all costs. Persy's Place down the street serves up an infinitely better breakfast with more choices.
