Fodor's Review

With its own oyster farm in nearby Barnstable, this restaurant—as well as its clientele—benefits from near-daily deliveries of the succulent bivalves. More than 1,000 oysters are eaten here on an average summer weekend. You'll always find close to two dozen raw and "dressed" oyster dishes (such as barbecue oysters on the half shell with blue cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon). There's also a nice range of non-oyster entrées, salads, and appetizers. The oyster stew is also out of this world. Exposed brick walls inside and a few street-side tables outside add to the pleasurable dining experience.

Very good for oysters

This is a good, bistro-like, somewhat upscale option in Hyannis with a specialty of oysters served both in several standard ways and in other preparations you wouldn't expect. Very good food and service, pleasant decor. Expensive, but worthwhile.

Busy even in the offseason, and for good reason.

This restaurant does a fantastic job with seafood preparation and presentation that was particularly impressive for a location such as the Cape. Their wine list is both impressive and unique. Our server was attentive and also interested in feedback. The only negative impressions we left with were: 1. their pamphlet was not updated to tell us that they are not open on Sundays in the off season (and so we had to come back another day) and 2. their website

is not well updated (specifically one of the dishes I had hoped to get was a "special" despite being pictured enticingly on their website). Despite these flaws, the experience was still quite good.
