Fodor's Expert Review Fazio's Trattoria

Housed in an old Italian bakery, swank but affordable Fazio's has the classic trattoria look, with wood floors, high ceilings, and a deli case full of fresh pasta, breads, and cheeses; there's also an espresso and cappuccino bar. Chef Tom Fazio's menu leans on fresh ingredients and herbed pastas, such as basil fettuccine with shrimp, lemon, and plum tomatoes. All ravioli, pastas, and breads are homemade, and the brick-oven pizzas are delicious. Take home some fresh cannoli for dessert. There's seating outside when the weather cooperates.
