Christopher's by the Bay

8 Johnson St., Provincetown, Massachusetts, 02657, USA

Guest rooms in this elegant but reasonably priced art-inspired inn are named after the greats—Rembrandt, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh—and are warmly appointed with brass bed frames and rich fabrics. Several of these tall-windowed rooms have partial views of the bay, and all receive plenty of light. The building is a graceful old Victorian surrounded by carefully maintained gardens and brick patios. Rooms on the upper floors are compact and share bathrooms, but they're also very low priced. Helpful owners Jim Rizzo and Dave McGlothlin often throw an impromptu happy hour. For many visitors, it's become a home away from home.
