Gay & Lesbian Travel in Boston

Gay & Lesbian Travel

Boston has a vibrant gay and lesbian population, a large portion of which lives in the South End, one of the city's most racially and ethnically diverse neighborhoods. The Fenway area and Cambridge also have gay- and lesbian-friendly communities. To find out the latest on Boston's gay and lesbian scene, stop by Glad Day or New Words bookstores, where you can pick up a copy of Bay Windows (www.baywindows.com), IN Newsweekly (www.innewsweekly.com), and Sojourner: The Women's Forum. The Boston Phoenix (www.bostonphoenix.com), a weekly publication, also covers gay and lesbian news and entertainment. The historic Arlington Street Church is a Unitarian-Universalist congregation with a large gay and lesbian membership.
