Fodor's Review

The Boston Tea Party occurred on Atlantic Avenue near Congress Street. The area was once a wharf—further evidence of Boston's relentless expansion into the harbor. There is a plaque commemorating the site at the foot of the Evelyn Moakley Bridge at Atlantic Avenue and Seaport Boulevard.
