Fodor's Review

The beautiful and beloved Boston Public Library regularly screens free family, foreign, classic, and documentary films in the Rabb Lecture Hall. Exhibitions and children's activities abound. The renaissance courtyard hosts free summer concerts (Wednesday at 6 pm, Friday at 12:30 pm), and the adjacent café is a welcome haven for readers of paperbacks, hardcovers, and screens. The exquisite murals of John Singer Sargent and print gallery exhibits also merit a walk-through.
