Massachusetts' oldest watering hole, rebuilt in 1780, was frequented by Paul Revere; even George Washington had a few drinks here. Today its main clientele are tourists and Charlestown professionals. It's an easy stop for a pint en route to the Bunker Hill Monument or historic Navy Yard. Try the house-made potato chips with your ale of choice.
