Fodor's Review

Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Suzanne Vega, Jim Kweskin's Jug Band—thousands of folkies have strummed and warbled their way through Club Passim, one of America's oldest (1958) and renowned Americana and roots music clubs. The cozy brick basement has table service and a counter to buy prepared dishes—Middle Eastern veggie items are yummy. If you travel with your guitar, call about open-mic nights. Classes and workshops at their school around the corner carry on folk traditions.
