Paradise Rock Club is a small place known for hosting big-name talent like U2, Coldplay, and local stars such as the Dresden Dolls. Two tiers of booths provide good sight lines anywhere in the club, as well as some intimate and out-of-the-way corners, and four bars quench the crowd's thirst. The 18-plus crowd varies with the shows. The newer Paradise Lounge, next door, is a more-intimate space to experience local, often acoustic songsters, as well as literary readings and other artistic events. It serves dinner.
